How Old Is Old. Anyway?

It’s a fun weekend so far, and I thought I’d throw in a little something that Darren PostProBlogger_Logoed the other day which has become quite interesting to me… How Old Are You? POLL … before you do anything else, just go over to  ProBlogger and take the poll, look at the results … which may be a little surprising to some.

As some of you already know, one of my messages here is that seniors and retirees can make money online.  My goal is to de-geek some of the mystery and hoopla that circulates around this important part of the online “space” and to inspire those who might be my age and hanging on the edge to get into the game.  It’s one of the few ways you can supplement and empower your retirement … with actual green dollars and/or other forms of satisfaction and not have to risk one thin dime. Frankly, I love it.

By the way, you’ll note I often link to/recommend Darren Rowse.  that’s because he is one of the pioneers in the blogging niche of online money making and because he is one of the more accessible and squarest dealers of the bunch.  I encourage you to spend time at Darren’s site, there is a veritable online encyclopedia of knowledge there, most of which Darren has already paid the tuition to learn … you needn’t pay twice.

So, how old are you?  In years and in attitude?

As always, I welcome comments, constructive criticisms, disagreements, questions or just plain talk.  You can leave a comment to thi or email me direct at: davestarr (at) gmail (dot) com or call me on 1-719-423-8872. 1. Darren Rowse is really a pioneer in blogging. I see that just from google adsense he makes aroung $14,000 per month. I would love to make even half of that per month. Thanks for the post.

  2. I am always 18 years old BUT with 9 years working experience. Guess how old am I ?

  3. @ Donald … indeed Darren is a pioneer in more ways than one. Personally I had no clue as to what blogging was or could be until my dear wife (the sent me a link to an article about Darren making six figures a year from blogging. Got my attention I can assure you *smile*. Of course I find an awful lot of peopkle don’t bother to _read_ Darren, he certainly doesn’t make that kind of money from … that’s mainly Darren’s way of giving back. Thanks a lot for dropping by and commenting,

  4. @ Kee Yit,

Thanks for dropping by and commenting also. You’re 27 years old and all else is revealed on your blog … well almost all else, anyway. I was looking at some of your detox/purification ideas and the thought of taking better care of myself is certainly tempting. To be a better blogger (and a wealthier retiree), take care of the “blogging engine” first, perhaps. Be well.

  5. “So, how old are you? In years and in attitude?”

In years, 28. In attitude… I’m not sure. I only hope I’m not too childish for my age. 😉

  6. Sorry, Karen, didn’t see this comment the last time I was looking here. Too childish? Hardly, becuase really I’m only 16 but stuck inside this old guy’s body. Still trying to figure out what to be when I grow up.
