OPAD Challenge — Get Busy — Make Money

One Page A Day Challenge This is a link to one of my blogging friends Eric Giguere’s flagship blog on Google AdSense and making money with same. Eric’s got a great challenge/motivational event for the month of February which ought to give him, and everyone who participates in it a lot of traffic. he’s offering some great prizes too. But more importantly, this is a great way to get out of the February winter doldrums and get yourself blogging …. for pleasure and for profit.

You see the absolute number one reason people don’t make money from blogging or other types of site building efforts is … they don’t write content and get it up online. This is a great tool to break that impasse for the coming month.

If you participate in the challenge … I I certainly recommend you do … you will, at the least, have 29 new pieces of valuable content on one of your blogs, or some other website, or even article directories and other forms of non-owned web assets. It is impossible to lose on this deal.

It is so interesting that I just saw this announcement on Eric’s blog because just moments before that I was reading the site of another good friend, Bob Martin’s Virtual Earner site. Bob’s topic of the day was the importance of just getting busy and posting content. I commented on his post and my summary formula for online success was:

There are a million different angles, there are technical "thingies" galore, there are pages and pages of advice (much of it good) and there are tools and accessories out the ying yang you can use, evaluate, think about buying, invest in … ad infinitum, but absolutely none of the techniques, tops, advice sites, books, software automaters or anything else is worth a darn unless you do just my two simple things:

I’m a day ahead of many of you, it’s January 31st, 5:44 pm as I write this … it will be February 1st before most of us know it … will you do something for your own success in February that will cost you absolutely nothing and is guaranteed to pay you dividends even if you don’t win a prize?
