Can You Believe This Blog Is Worth $5 Million Dollars?

No, no not this blog … I’ll sell this for $4,000,000 today only ;-)

The blog that Yaro Starak wants to tell the world about, www.caradvice.com.au  …  read on and you’ll find out this is a fascinating story.

You’ve seen here on www.retiredpay.com that I have often said, the key to being an online success … in blogging or in some other endeavor … is to play to your strengths.  Everyone has some expertise on something.

And I kick myself I didn’t get in the car game a long time back … likely, when you watch this interview, you will too.

In Australia they have a common saying .. FIGJAM … I’m Good, Just Ask Me.  As a man I know this is an attitude I’ve had, from time to time, and certainly I have seen it often with fellow male entrepreneurs, as well as a few of my female colleagues.

No place would this be more evident than when it comes to cars and driving.  Who, within the sound of my voice, is a bad driver?  Hmm, got quiet all of a sudden, didn’t it.  When it comes to driving, buying cars, fixing cars, talking about cars, hey, … FIGJAM  ;-)

Unless I miss my guess, you are pretty darn good yourself, no?  So see, when you said you were not an expert on anything, and that you didn’t have a clue what to start a profitable blog about, the answer was sitting there in your driveway the entire time!

Whoever said blogging can’t make BIG money had not heard this story.  Yaro Starak interviewed his previous student,
Alborz Fallah, who is the owner of caradvice.com.au - a car blog for Australians, which was valued at $5 million dollars and generates close to $50,000 a month.  Yes, that’s right $50,000 a month

Note to my fellow American readers, I am sure that is Australian dollars which we know are worth … oh, almost the same as US Dollars now, thanks for ruining our currency, Mr. Bush)

You can listen to or read the interview here

Alborz started his blog like most people, sitting at home, writing content each day outside of the time he spent at his full time job. His blog grew, he started making money and he just kept working. Eventually he was approached by people who wanted to buy his blog. He said no, until someone came along who only wanted to buy a share in the site
and help it continue to grow. Alborz agreed and his blog immediately went from part time hobby, to full time business.

Today Alborz’s blog has full time employees, he travels to Europe to test some of the most prestigious cars in the world and it’s fair to say he is living a dream - making big money writing about a topic he loves.

In this interview you can hear Alborz talk about how he grew his traffic, how he brought on investors to help grow his site and what’s it like being in charge of a multi-million dollar blog.

It’s worth listening to this interview because you can learn some key things to help with your own quest to make a profitable blog, for example:

The interview is available for instant download in MP3 or text transcript. Here’s the link again

Yaro released this video to inspire people to believe what is possible with a blog.  If you want to follow in Alborz’s footsteps, consider taking on Yaro as your blog coach and join his Blog Mastermind coaching program and you might just become the next Alborz.

PS:  The weekend is here.  If you missed the earlier free introduction to Conversion Blogging Yaro released a couple days ago, there is no better time to listen to it … it’s be more productive than watching a ball game, I can guarantee that.  Not familiar with what "Conversion Blogging" is?  Then you really need to watch … unless you want to lose out on the profit potential you hold within you!
