Love Dollars

A month or two back my good friend Steve Pavlina asked this question:

If you really commit yourself to the idea, can you earn $1 from doing something you love?

Fits right into the current mini series I’m doing here on "making money with no website.  It’s pretty obvious and totally understandable that people like may of the audience here (seniors and retirees making money online to empower their retirement) with or without websites, have lived a big part of their lives without websites and would just as soon continue without a web site.

But the kicker is, they keep hearing and reading all this stuff about people making money online … are they left out?

hardly.  Today I’m going to offer you something I rarely do.  A guarantee.  If you are located in the US, and you have never made a dollar online, I’ll show you how to make that first dollar right now, today (no matter what time of day it is as you read this), your investment will be exactly no dollars and no cents and you will earn at least a dollar within your first 15 minutes.

I think starting a blog is a key part to building lasting income online, but this is a great series, and it definitely shows that there are ways to make money online that go beyond the build-a-website approach. :)

@Lindsay: Absolutely, Lindsay, thnaks for dropping by and for commenting. One _can_ make money from blogging, but that is really only a sub-set of a much bigger world. One can make money using the ‘Net as a component of the business, and a blog is often a very important part. All the money is certainly not in AdSense or selling yet another make money scheme.

I’m too rushed to lok back right now, but I seem to recall reporting just a couple weeks ago on a lady who made millions and millions with brownies. Yes, those choolate baked goods thingies, not some strange networking term. The Web and even blogging is a component of her business, but she’s not a blogger, she’s a brownie baker and a business entrepreneur.
